Garrett Popcorn Shops

The Garrett Mix popcorn is very good but the employees are not really the friendliest in the recent experience so that's where the 3 star experience really comes into play. Upon entering we found a small line to wait in but nothing really too bad. We shuffled our way through and it felt like we were more of an inconvenience than welcomed for our experience. We got a jumbo Garrett mix and saw that there was a $4 add on for the s'mores mix bag if you wanted that at the beginning of the case. The very first case you encounter has the bags of the add on but then when we asked to get one we were told to ask for it at the end during check out. Kinda confusing as to why it's the first thing you see but you're supposed to address it at the end? Either way we got the mix and our add on sent on our way. The popcorn itself is great...at first an interesting combination but it works well. The cheddar popcorn is very rich and a nice solid cheddar flavor, it's not subtle but it's good for that reason. The caramel popcorn is good as well. Also of note is the fact that somehow their bag folds back up nicely sealing it without sealing it with a zipper or clasp. I'm not sure what it's made of but you can get a big bag and it will last for days without going stale if you roll it back on itself by holding itself in position. We had to do this because while it is great it is very rich so you only need a little bit to feel like you've had a good amount. Popcorn itself is a 5 for sure but docked a couple stars on the service, may just be this location on this day so that's how we ended up here. I still recommend it highly if you're near here for the popcorn itself

Magical Popcorn & Great Service!!! Popcorn -- forget those tins you got for Christmas that had mixes of different flavors of popcorn in them.....this is the real deal!! The popcorn is fresh and absolutely delicious! They have 3 main flavors of cheese, caramel, and butter. They also have premium flavors of pecan, cashew and a 3rd flavor that is sweet and magical. Simply amazing!!!! Service -- friendly and helpful service that helps get you the popcorn in a quick manner but are also happy to answer any questions you may have. In and out in 3-4 minutes. Vibe -- the smell is so so magical that you want to capture it in jars and take it back home. Or set up a tent and live there. Bright, colorful, and very efficient. Value -- great value for an awesome product. They have many options for sizes including specialty tins for gifts, including a variety of options such as local sports teams, Bulls, Bears, Cubs, Sox, etc. Overall -- if you love popcorn, stop in for magical popcorn and great service....the smell alone is an instant happiness trigger!!
